What is this workshop about?
Percentages are a fundamental concept used in many areas of everyday life and understanding them will help you making informed decisions and achieving your goals. You will learn:
- To establish a foundational understanding of percentages
- Connecting Fractions, Decimals and Percentages
- Calculating Percentages without a calculator
- Working with Percentages using calculators
- Awareness of the relevance of percentages in practical scenarios
Who is this workshop for?
This course is for learners with basic knowledge of whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
A basic level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course.
How you will be assessed?
Through questions and answers, the completion of learner reflection form.

This workshop is fully funded by the Department of Education for Education for adults who meet the following criteria:
- Aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2023.
- A Hertfordshire resident.
- A UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years.
- Do not hold a Maths GCSE qualification.
