What is this workshop about?
During these two workshops you will be breathing new life into your old clothes/bedding by turning them into fabric flowers that can be framed, made into brooches, attached to hair bands or gift boxes.
Who is this workshop for?
This course is aimed at those who want to explore how to be sustainable and turn old clothes/fabric into fabric flowers which can be used to decorate a wide number of items.
Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
A basic level of conversational and written English. Reasonable motor skills, as you will be hand sewing and cutting out.
How you will be assessed?
Through questions and answers, the completion of weekly learner reflection forms and a sample of your work completed during the session.
How much studying will I need to do outside of the lesson?
You will need to spend some time preparing your fabric prior to both sessions.
After this workshop you might like to… attend some of our other sewing courses such as Sewing for Complete Beginners or Brilliant Boxes (so you can add your fabric flowers to the projects you learn).
What learners need to bring/supply
A laptop, tablet or computer is required for our online courses. Learners will need to provide all materials and tools to complete the project being created. A list of materials required will be provided with your booking confirmation. We also suggest items you would normally throw away so reduce costs and be sustainable.
Additional Information
The amount of time practising is totally up to you but the more you put in, the more you will get out of this course.
