The Power of Pivot Tables

What is this workshop about?

This workshop focuses on using Excel PivotTables to summarise, analyse and present real business data. Learners will develop practical skills to build and modify PivotTables, apply calculations, filter and group data, and create charts and interactive reports to answer common workplace reporting questions quickly and accurately. Tasks will include:

• Creating PivotTables to quickly summarise large datasets
• Rearranging and analysing PivotTables to answer reporting questions
• Filtering, sorting and grouping data to uncover trends and patterns
• Applying the right calculations to compare totals, counts and proportions
• Presenting insights clearly using PivotCharts and interactive slicers

Who is this workshop for?

Excel users who are comfortable with tables, basic formulas (SUM, AVERAGE, IF), and filtering. 

Entry Requirements to do this workshop:

Learners should be comfortable using Excel tables, basic formulas such as SUM, AVERAGE and IF, and applying filters to data. This workshop is not suitable for beginners to Excel.
