    What is this workshop about?

Do you have a child in years 3 – 7? Do you want to be able to help them with their maths work, but lack the confidence to do so? This workshop is designed to help parents to understand the current maths curriculum, teaching methods and maths strategies that your child will encounter in school. The workshop will be a mixture of collaborative and independent work, so learners can focus on the topics that are most relevant to you and your child.

    Who is this workshop for?

Anybody with a child in years 3 – 7 (ages 7 – 12) who would like to be able to support their child with maths.

Entry Requirements to do this workshop:

A conversational level of English will be required to access the resources. Should learners wish to access the resources after the workshop, you will need a device with internet access.

    How you will be assessed?

After this workshop you might like to… complete further maths courses, such as ‘developing numeracy skills’. Learners may feel ready to progress to an accredited course such as Functional Skills.
