What is this workshop about?
Are you ready to get crafty? Learn to crochet with our fun and interactive workshop. Whether you want to make a house decoration or a unique handmade gift for a loved one, this workshop is for you. Brush up on your number skills through counting your stitches/chain links and measuring your bunting to make the perfect decoration.
Who is this workshop for?
For people who haven’t been crocheting for long and want to learn new stitches and start a crochet project.
Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
A basic level of conversational and written English is required plus reasonable small motor skills, as you will need to hold yarn and a hook.
How you will be assessed?
Through questions and answers, the completion learner reflection form.

There will be hooks and yarn available for students to borrow. Whatever is completed during the session can be taken home. Tools will need to be returned at the end of the session. If you have your own tools, please feel free to bring them.
Please note we cannot guarantee yarn colours available so if you wish to work with your favourite colour you are advised to bring your own.
What learners need to bring/supply
You will be asked to complete an enrolment form at the start of the course. Please bring along one form of ID to facilitate this.

Further information
This course is fully funded by the Department of Education for Education for adults who meet the following criteria:
- Aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2024.
- A Hertfordshire resident.
- A UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years.
- Do not hold a Maths GCSE qualification.
