    What is this workshop about?

    Boost the quality of your professional and social presentations by looking at ways to engage your audience using speech structure, intonation and good body language. This course aims to improve the quality of your public speaking and in turn boost your confidence.

    It will focus on what works well in presentations; why public speaking confidently is important; how to use intonation to alter meaning and completing a short presentation.

    Who is this workshop for?

    This course is for those wishing to improve the quality of their public speaking and presentation skills.

    Entry Requirements to do this workshop:

    A good level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course.

    How you will be assessed?

    Discussions, observations and presentations. 

    What learners need to bring/supply:

    Learners must have access to a laptop, tablet or desktop with good wifi and a webcam.

    NOTE: This course is for Hertfordshire Residents Only - *With the exception of the registration fee, this course/workshop is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet a set criteria - please see further details under the 'Further Information' heading.

    Online live streamed - Google Classroom

    Venue Information

    This course/workshop is run as real-time online using Google Classroom. This means that instead of having to go to a classroom, the classroom comes to you! You are taught by a teacher and you will have classmates that you share ideas with. To take part you will need a tablet or laptop/computer with a webcam and microphone to enable you to interact. A few days before the start, your teacher will email you with instructions on how to join the class.

    *Except for the registration fee, this course/workshop is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet the following criteria:

    • A Hertfordshire Resident
    • Aged 19 years or older on 31st August 2024
    • UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
