What is this workshop about?
Boost the quality of your professional and social presentations by looking at ways to engage your audience using speech structure, intonation and good body language. Improve the quality of your public speaking and in turn boost your confidence. In this course you will look at the pitfalls of presenting, diction, pacing and intonation as well as resources, props and great speakers.
Who is this workshop for?
For people who want to improve the quality of their public speaking in person or online, and in turn boost their confidence.
Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
A good level of conversational and written English is required.
How you will be assessed?
Through questions and answers and the completion of weekly learner reflection forms. Also, you will give three short presentations for which you will receive constructive positive feedback from your peers and tutor.
What learners need to bring/supply:
Learners must have access to a laptop, tablet or desktop with good wifi and a webcam and microphone.

Online live streamed - Google Classroom
Venue Information
This course/workshop is run as real-time online using Google Classroom. This means that instead of having to go to a classroom, the classroom comes to you! You are taught by a teacher and you will have classmates that you share ideas with. To take part you will need a tablet or laptop/computer with a webcam and microphone to enable you to interact. A few days before the start, your teacher will email you with instructions on how to join the class.

*Except for the registration fee, this course/workshop is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet the following criteria:
- A Hertfordshire Resident
- Aged 19 years or older on 31st August 2024
- UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
