The workshop aims to inform parents about the SATs, the terminology and concepts involved, and how to support their children's well-being and anxiety during this period. The workshop will cover the following topics:

    - What are SATs and why are they important? This session will explain the purpose and format of the SATs, the topics and skills assessed.

    - What are some key terms and concepts that your children need to know? This section will introduce some of the jargon and abbreviations used in the SATs, such as arithmetic, reasoning, BIDMAS (order of operations), etc. It will also provide some examples and exercises to help you and your children understand and practice them.

    - How can you help your children revise effectively? We will offer some practical tips and strategies for revision, such as Pyramid strategy, finding online resources, etc. It will also suggest some ways to make revision fun and engaging, such as using games, quizzes, songs, etc.

    - How can you support your children's well-being and anxiety during the SATs? This session will address some of the common worries and challenges that your children may face during the SATs, such as stress, pressure, fear of failure, etc. It will also advise you on how to help your children cope with these emotions, such as by providing encouragement, praise, reassurance, etc. It will also recommend some activities and techniques to promote relaxation, such as breathing exercises, mindfulness, etc.
