What is this workshop about?

Build your confidence in the number skills we use every day in the kitchen – including weighing and measuring, estimating and timing, and understanding the nutritional value of the food we eat. This will be taught alongside some practical cooking skills, and you will be able to take home some delicious home-made treats!

Who is this workshop for?

Anybody who is looking to build their confidence in number skills and cooking skills.

Entry Requirements to do this workshop:

A basic level of conversational English is required to participate in this course.

How you will be assessed?

Through questions and answers, the completion of learner reflection form.

After this workshop you might like to… complete further Multiply numeracy courses, or progress to further cookery courses.

NOTE: This workshop is for Hertfordshire Residents Only - *This workshop is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet a set criteria - please see further details under the 'Further Information' heading.

Further information

This workshop is fully funded by the Department of Education for Education for adults who meet the following criteria:

Aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2023.
A Hertfordshire resident.
A UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years.
Do not hold a Maths GCSE qualification.
