During this workshop you will gain an overview of ways to improve self-motivation & become more proactive. You will gain a better understanding of the reasons why you put things off and you will identify some practical methods to help you manage your time more effectively.
Who is this workshop for?
This is the perfect workshop for someone who may feel overwhelmed by the number of tasks and goals that they face in their personal or professional life
Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
A good level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this workshop.
How you will be assessed?
Discussions, observation, Q&A and the completion of a worksheet.
What learners need to bring/supply
- A PC or laptop to take part in class and complete activities and assignments (a mobile device alone will not be sufficient).
- Internet Access.

During this workshop we will talk to you about your next steps which could include attending other workshops/courses such as other personal development courses like ‘Boost Your Confidence’ or ‘Understanding Assertiveness’ followed by ‘Job search in the Digital World’. Those who wish to improve their English speaking and writing skills may benefit from signing up to a FS English course before they embark on Employability. Those who already possess employability skills can progress by applying for jobs and attending interviews. Those who are already employed could increase their chances of progression within the workplace by applying for a higher level role with more responsibility. Online live streamed - Google Classroom
Venue Information
This course/workshop is run as real-time online using Google Classroom. This means that instead of having to go to a classroom, the classroom comes to you! You are taught by a teacher and you will have classmates that you share ideas with. To take part you will need a tablet or laptop/computer with a webcam and microphone to enable you to interact. A few days before the start, your teacher will email you with instructions on how to join the class.

- A Hertfordshire Resident
- Aged 19 years or older on 31st July 2025
- UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
