    What is this Course about?

    This accredited course builds on foundational digital marketing knowledge and equips learners with the skills to plan, manage, and evaluate a digital marketing campaign.

    Learners will explore a range of digital marketing platforms and techniques, conduct market research, and develop a campaign proposal tailored to a specific audience and objective. The course emphasizes practical application, critical thinking, and strategic planning.

    Who is this Course for?

    • Small business owners, entrepreneurs, or freelancers looking to enhance their digital presence.
    • Individuals seeking to upskill or transition into a marketing role.
    • Learners interested in understanding how to plan and execute effective digital campaigns.

    Entry Requirements to do this Course:

    • A good level of conversational and written English
    • Basic maths, computer literacy and familiarity with internet use.

    To be fully funded:

    • Learners must be aged 19 or over and a resident in Hertfordshire.
    • Either, unemployed* and claiming benefits or earning under the National Living Wage - £25,000 per year.
    • Or do not have a full Level 2 qualification or above (this excludes maths and English). Other L2 exclusions may apply.

    How you will be assessed?

    • You will complete a portfolio of evidence throughout the duration of the course.
    • Regular Learner Reflections and Assignments.
    • A written or digital campaign proposal for a product, service, or cause.
    • A short presentation or discussion justifying the chosen strategies and platforms.

    How much studying will I need to do outside of the lesson?

    2-3 hours per week outside of the live classes will be required to meet assessment deadlines. Examples include:

    • Conducting market research.
    • Drafting and refining a campaign proposal.
    • Reviewing course materials and preparing for assessments.

    What learners need to bring/supply

    • A PC or laptop to take part in class and complete activities and assignments (a mobile device alone will not be sufficient).
    • Internet Access.

    Online live streamed - Google Classroom

    Venue Information

    This course/workshop is run as real-time online using Google Classroom. This means that instead of having to go to a classroom, the classroom comes to you! You are taught by a teacher and you will have classmates that you share ideas with. To take part you will need a tablet or laptop/computer with a webcam and microphone to enable you to interact. A few days before the start, your teacher will email you with instructions on how to join the class.

    Except for the registration fee, this course is fully funded by The Department for Education Adult Skills Fund, for adults who meet the following criteria:

    • A Hertfordshire Resident
    • Aged 19 years or older on 31st August 2025
    • A UK national or anyone with a lawful immigration status in the UK. You will not be eligible if you are in the UK under any of the following conditions:
      • On a student visa
      • On a sponsorship visa
      • On a visa or residence permit that restricts or prohibits study
      • In the UK on holiday (with or without a visa)

    To be fully funded you will also need to be either unemployed and claiming benefits or working and earning below £25,750
