    What is this workshop about?

    This workshop will introduce you to the basic skills that you need to use Microsoft Excel, whether it’s for work or personal use. In this workshop you will learn:

    • The parts of an Excel spreadsheet
    • Formatting data, which includes adjusting column widths, wrapping text, aligning text, merging cells and formatting numbers and text
    • Using data to create and modify charts
    • Basic formulas and functions including calculations

    Who is this workshop for?

    This course is for people who are new to Excel and want to learn how to use the key features. It is also suitable for anyone needing to refresh their skills and wanting to be able to create their own spreadsheets.

    Entry Requirements to do this workshop:

    A basic level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course. You must also have a basic level of computer skills

    Learners must have access to Microsoft Excel and a laptop or desktop.

    *Except for the registration fee, this course is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet the following criteria:

    • A Hertfordshire Resident
    • Aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2023
    • UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
