Course Outline
This workshop will introduce you to the skills you need to use Microsoft Excel confidently, whether it’s for work or personal use.
Introduction to Excel
Practice formatting data, which includes adjusting column widths, wrapping text, aligning text, merging cells and formatting numbers and text. Use data to create and modify charts.
Functions and Formulae
Use Excel to calculate expenses using functions and formulae.
Workshop duration: 4hrs
Workshop date: Monday 24th July 2023

NOTE: This course is for Hertfordshire Residents Only - This course is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet a set *criteria - please refer to the 'Further Information' tab.

Venue Information
This course/workshop is run as real-time online using Google Classroom. This means that instead of having to go to a classroom, the classroom comes to you! You are taught by a teacher and you will have classmates that you share ideas with. To take part you will need a tablet or laptop/computer with a webcam and microphone to enable you to interact. A few days before the start, your teacher will email you with instructions on how to join the class.

This course is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet the following criteria:
- A Hertfordshire Resident
- Aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2022
- UK National and lived in UK for last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in EEA for last 3 years
