What is this workshop about?

This workshop will introduce you to the basic skills that you need to use and start using Microsoft Excel, for either work or personal use. In this workshop you will learn:

• The parts of an Excel spreadsheet.
• Formatting data, which includes adjusting column widths, wrapping text, aligning text, merging cells and formatting numbers and text.
• Using data to create and modify charts.
• Basic formulas and functions including calculations.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for people who are new to Excel and want to learn how to use the key features. It is also suitable for anyone needing to refresh their skills and wanting to be able to create their own spreadsheets.

Entry Requirements to do this workshop:

A basic level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this workshop. You must also have a basic level of computer skills and the use of Microsoft excel.

What learners need to bring/supply

Learners must have access to Microsoft Excel and a laptop or desktop. Please note, MacBook’s may not have all the required functions to complete this workshop
