    What is this Course about?

    This course is an Introduction to Digital Marketing designed to provide beginners with a comprehensive understanding of digital marketing principles and practices. Over 10 hours, participants will learn about various digital marketing channels, including SEO, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising. The course also covers setting objectives, understanding the customer journey, creating engaging content, and measuring campaign success.

    Anyone looking to understand the basics of digital marketing and how to apply them effectively.

    Entry Requirements to do this Course:

    No prior experience in digital marketing is required.

    Basic computer skills: Familiarity with using the internet and basic software applications.

    How you will be assessed?

    • Practical Assignments: Participants will complete assignments that apply the concepts learned in each session.
    • Participation: Active participation in discussions and activities during the sessions.

    How much studying will I need to do outside of the lesson?

    The final session will include a project where learners will have to present their findings. The amount of time you dedicate to this will be optional.

    What learners need to bring/supply

    Access to a computer and internet: Participants will need a computer with internet access to complete assignments and participate in online activities.

    Online live streamed - Google Classroom

    Venue Information

    This course/workshop is run as real-time online using Google Classroom. This means that instead of having to go to a classroom, the classroom comes to you! You are taught by a teacher and you will have classmates that you share ideas with. To take part you will need a tablet or laptop/computer with a webcam and microphone to enable you to interact. A few days before the start, your teacher will email you with instructions on how to join the class.

    *Except for the registration fee, this course/workshop is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet the following criteria:

    • A Hertfordshire Resident
    • Aged 19 years or older on 31st August 2024
    • UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
