What is this Course about?
This is an intermediate level course which will help you improve your skills and give you confidence in using Microsoft Excel. The main areas that we will cover during this course are:
- Freeze/unfreeze rows and columns. Split a worksheet.
- Filter data. Apply multiple filters. Filter data with search. Apply advanced text/number/data filter. Use find and replace.
- Create a conditional formatting. Sorting data. Custom sorting. Add multiple levels to any sort.
- Group and ungroup worksheets. Make a drop downs. Modify tables. Functions and formulas.
- Create more complex formulas. Relative and absolute cell references.
Who is this Course for?
This course for people who are competent in using basic Excel and want to learn more features and functions to further improve their skills.
Entry Requirements to do this Course:
A basic level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course. You must also have a basic level of Excel and computer skills.
How you will be assessed?
Question & Answer, Discussions, and observations. You will also be asked to complete Learner reflections.
How much studying will I need to do outside of the lesson?
It will be advised to use the skills learnt in the classes and practise on your own Excel documents and devices.
What learners need to bring/supply
Learners must have access to Microsoft Excel and a laptop or desktop with good wifi and a webcam.
