    What is this workshop about?

    Coming up with a business idea and starting a business can seem overwhelming and complicated. There are so many things you must consider. One important element is the requirement to create a business plan. In this short course we will look at the structure and purpose of a Business Plan, executive summaries, content and you will complete a template.

    Who is this workshop for?

    For people who are considering starting up their own business but do not know where to start and for people who have just started out. 

    Entry Requirements to do this workshop:

    A basic level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course. You must also have a basic level of computer skills

    How you will be assessed?

    By completion of a learner reflection and business plan template.

    How much studying will I need to do outside of the lesson?

    Complete your business plan template if you do not manage to do so within the lesson

    What learners need to bring/supply

    Pen and notepad.

    *Except for the registration fee, this course/workshop is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet the following criteria:

    • A Hertfordshire Resident
    • Aged 19 years or older on 31st August 2024
    • UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
