What is this workshop about?

Coming up with a business idea and starting a business can seem overwhelming and complicated. There are so many things you must consider. One of the most important elements is how to fund your business in the first place. This short course should give you some idea of where to start. We will look at weekly accounts, we will consider several

different ways of borrowing money and we will look key considerations around borrowing including APRs and ‘loan periods’.

Who is this workshop for?

For people who are considering starting up their own business but do not know where to start.  

Entry Requirements to do this workshop:

A basic level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course. You must also have a basic level of computer skills.

How you will be assessed?

By completion of a learner reflection and a basic weekly accounts sheet.

What learners need to bring/supply

Pen and notepad.
