    Teacher: This workshop is being taught by Joy.

    What is this workshop about?

    On this taster course you will learn about the skills needed to enable children to become a good writer in Key Stage 1 & 2. You will be given ideas on how to make writing fun and how to encourage reluctant writers. You will be given ideas for free or low-cost sustainable resources that will help to develop children’s writing skills.

    Who is this workshop for?

    For parents, carers and anyone working with children of Primary School age (3-10yrs).

    Entry Requirements to do this workshop:

    No previous experience is required, however conversational English and some digital skills to allow you to access and use Google Classroom is desirable.  

    How you will be assessed?

    Through questions, quizzes and a learner reflection

    What learners need to bring/supply

    You must have a tablet or laptop with a working camera that can access Google Classroom

    What happens after I book this workshop?

    There are two steps to complete before studying with us and booking on here is the first step. Your next step will be to enrol on your chosen course following the instructions attached to your order confirmation email.

    *Except for the registration fee, this course/workshop is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet the following criteria:

    • A Hertfordshire Resident
    • Aged 19 years or older on 31st August 2024
    • UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
