    Teacher: This workshop is being taught by Joy.

    What is this workshop about?

    In this 2-hour workshop you and your child/ren will create a story sack and make some resources, such as puppets, to go in it. You will be given lots of ideas on how to help your child develop their English, Maths and Science skills through stories.

    Who is this workshop for?

    This course is aimed at parents working with their children aged 3-8yrs and will use simple crafting methods and tools/materials.

    Entry Requirements to do this workshop:

    A basic level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course.

    How you will be assessed?

    Through questions and answers, the completion of a learner reflection form and a photograph of your completed project/s.

    Material supplied by Step2Skills

    We supply the tools and materials required and students are encouraged to take home the sacks they make during the session.

    Additional Information

    Please note that this workshop is for children aged 3-8yrs. Children and babies outside of this age range will not be admitted.

    *Except for the registration fee, this course/workshop is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet the following criteria:

    • A Hertfordshire Resident
    • Aged 19 years or older on 31st August 2024
    • UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
