    What is this Course about?

    This course is about understanding different mindsets and how this impacts our actions and decisions. It is about understanding how the brain works, to understand how thoughts leads to feelings and behaviour. You will also learn about Resilience, Mindfulness and how to become Assertive.

    Who is this Course for?

    The course is for those who would like to understand how mindset can have an impact on one’s life and how to change it.

    Entry Requirements to do this Course:

    No previous experience or qualifications required.

    How you will be assessed?

    Worksheets, question and answers, group discussions.

    How much studying will I need to do outside of the lesson?

    There is no work to be completed outside the sessions, although it will be advisable to put into practice information gained through activities during the sessions.

    Pen and paper.

    Except for the registration fee, this course/workshop is fully funded by The Department for Education Adult Skills Fund, for adults who meet the following criteria:

    • A Hertfordshire Resident
    • Aged 19 years or older on 31st August 2025
    • A UK national or anyone with a lawful immigration status in the UK. You will not be eligible if you are in the UK under any of the following conditions:
      • On a student visa
      • On a sponsorship visa
      • On a visa or residence permit that restricts or prohibits study
      • In the UK on holiday (with or without a visa)
