What is this workshop about?
This 2-hour workshop will show you how to take the first steps in crochet and the session will cover how to create a sliding knot, your first chain stitch and if time permits a double crochet stitch.
Who is this workshop for?
This course is aimed towards people who have never crocheted but wanted to give it a go.

Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
A basic level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course.
How you will be assessed?
Through questions and answers, the completion of a learner reflection form and a photograph of your work completed project/s.
After this workshop you might like to… join some of our other courses including crochet for beginners, crochet intermediates or Tunisian crochet.
What learners need to bring/supply
Learners will require double knit yarn, size 4/5mm hook and scissors. Tip: Keep your costs down and to be sustainable perhaps visit your local charity shop for yarn or put a call out on the website next-door or to family and friends for spare/free tools and materials.

- A Hertfordshire Resident
- Aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2023
- UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
