What is this workshop about?
This taster will explore the information and skills needed to work in a school. You will learn about the different key stages and about the various roles and job opportunities within a school.
Who is this workshop for?
Adults who are interested in working or volunteering in a school setting.
Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
Basic conversational and written English is required.
How you will be assessed?
Through a written reflection
What learners need to bring/supply
You must have a tablet or laptop with a working camera that can access Google Classroom.
Additional Information
Please note that this is a live interactive online workshop, learners will be expected to have their camera on and participate fully at all times.

Online live streamed - Google Classroom
Venue Information
This course/workshop is run as real-time online using Google Classroom. This means that instead of having to go to a classroom, the classroom comes to you! You are taught by a teacher and you will have classmates that you share ideas with. To take part you will need a tablet or laptop/computer with a webcam and microphone to enable you to interact. A few days before the start, your teacher will email you with instructions on how to join the class.

*Except for the registration fee, this course/workshop is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet the following criteria:
- A Hertfordshire Resident
- Aged 19 years or older on 31st July 2024
- UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
