What is this workshop about?

Want to work with children? Need a job that fits around school holidays? This taster session will give you an overview of the roles available in schools, how schools work, and the skills needed to work in a school. You will be given information, advice and guidance on how to develop your skills and prepare for a job in a school.

Who is this workshop for?

This course is aimed at adults who are thinking of volunteering or working in a school setting.

Entry Requirements to do this workshop:

No previous experience is required, however conversational English and some digital skills to allow you to access and use Google Classroom is desirable.

How you will be assessed?

Through verbal questioning, quizzes and a written learner reflection.

What learners need to bring/supply

You must have a tablet or laptop with a working camera that can access Google Classroom

Additional Information

Please note that this is a live interactive online workshop, learners will be expected to have their camera on and participate fully at all times.
