If English is not your first language, we have courses available to improve your English and gain a qualification. If you want to start from September, come and meet some of our teachers on this session. On the day we will check your language skills so that we can place you on the right course.

Please bring:

Photo ID (Passport/ Driving Licence)
NI Number
Emergency contact details: name and number
Evidence of your residency status if you have not lived in the EU for the last 3 years

Duration: 2.5 hours
Date: Monday 17th July 2023
Times: 9am-12pm

Please note:
Our ESOL courses are fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet the following criteria:

Aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2023.
UK National and lived in UK for last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in EEA for last 3 years.
Unemployed and claiming benefits or earning below £20,319.
Learners should also be a Hertfordshire resident.

Parking

There are only a few disabled permit parking bays close by on the street (more options on Sundays and in the evening) but we are only a short walk away from the Jackson Square car park (free parking on Sundays and after 6:30pm), exiting on foot from the Riverside exit and along the path at the side of M&S or Riverside Walk. The entrance to the carpark is via The Causeway (A1250).
