What is this workshop about?
By exploring ‘SnapSeed’ you will be able to improve the photographs you take on your smartphone or tablet. You will then use them to create one-of-a-kind items for your family and friends for example cards, gift bags and much more.
Who is this workshop for?
Anyone who owns a smart phone or tablet and wishes to use it to explore the free app SnapSeed to turn their pictures into something special.
Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
A basic level of conversational and written English is required plus basic computer skills.
How you will be assessed?
Through questions and answers, submission of at least one manipulated image and the completion of a learner reflection form.
After this workshop you might like to… attend one of our paper crafting courses e.g. Brilliant Boxes or one of our photography courses e.g. Photography for Beginners.

Learning resources which can be accessed via Google Classrooms.
What learners need to bring/supply
Laptop, paper, pen/pencil and a smart phone or tablet.
Prior to the session please upload to your device the free Snapseed app.
What happens after I book this workshop?
There are two steps to complete before studying with us and booking on here is the first step. Your next step will be to enrol on your chosen course following the instructions attached to your order confirmation email.
NOTE: This course is for Hertfordshire Residents Only - *This workshop is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet a set criteria - please see further details under the 'Further Information' heading.
Online live streamed
This course/workshop is run as real-time online using Google Classroom. This means that instead of having to go to a classroom, the classroom comes to you! You are taught by a teacher and you will have classmates that you share ideas with. To take part you will need a tablet or laptop/computer with a webcam and microphone to enable you to interact. A few days before the start, your teacher will email you with instructions on how to join the class.
*This workshop is fully funded by The Education & Skills Funding Agency for adults who meet the following criteria:
- A Hertfordshire Resident
- Aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2023
- UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
