What is this workshop about?
This workshop focuses on developing stronger data handling, validation and analysis skills in Excel. Learners will work with real-world data lists to clean, organise, validate and analyse information more effectively, reduce errors, and work more efficiently in everyday Excel tasks. Tasks will include:
- How to create a data table from a CSV file.
- How to edit information to remove unnecessary spaces.
- Turning raw data files into clean, structured Excel tables
- Cleaning and standardising data to improve accuracy and reliability
- Sorting and filtering data to answer everyday business questions
- Using formulas and lookups to analyse and connect data
- Reducing errors and improving efficiency using validation, formatting and best practice techniques
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for Excel users who work regularly with data lists and want to improve the accuracy, organisation and efficiency of their spreadsheets. It is suitable for learners using Excel in administrative, operational, finance or reporting roles.
Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
Learners should be comfortable using Excel tables, basic formulas such as SUM, AVERAGE and IF, and applying filters to data. This workshop is not suitable for beginners to Excel
