What is this workshop about?
Our 2-hour Crochet Mug Warmer Workshop is a perfect way for anyone who wants to learn how to crochet and improve your number skills all at the same time. Crocheting is a gentle way to help improve your counting skills whilst making a thoughtful gift for someone.
Who is this workshop for?
For beginners who haven’t been crocheting for long and want to start a crochet project with basic stitches and simple pattern.
Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
A basic level of conversational and written English is required plus reasonable small motor skills, as you will need to hold yarn and a hook.
How you will be assessed?
Through questions and answers, the completion learner reflection form.

Material supplied by Step2Skills
There will be hooks and yarn available for students to borrow. Whatever is completed during the session can be taken home. Tools will need to be returned at the end of the session. If you have your own tools, please feel free to bring them.
Please note we cannot guarantee yarn colours available so if you wish to work with your favourite colour you are advised to bring your own.
Additional Information
The amount of time practising is totally up to you but the more you put in, the more you will get out of this workshop.

This course is fully funded by the Department of Education for Education for adults who meet the following criteria:
- Aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2023.
- A Hertfordshire resident.
- A UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years.
- Do not hold a Maths GCSE qualification.
