What is this course about?
This course is aimed at those who wish to discover effective methods for writing fiction. During the sessions we will explore a range of simple techniques to help inspire you and create well-constructed stories with interesting characters.
Who is this course for?
For people who want to learn the basics of storytelling or explore techniques to expand on existing fiction writing skills.
Entry Requirements to do this course:
A basic level of conversational and written English is required and a wiliness to ‘play’ games.
How you will be assessed?
Through questions and answers, the completion of weekly learner reflection forms and a sample of your work completed during the session.
How much studying will I need to do outside of the lesson?
An hour or two per week to practice skills covered during each session.
After this course you might like to… attend our Writing for Pleasure and Profit course, Poetry course or our Visual Poetry workshop.
What learners need to bring/supply
Students will need to provide paper and pen/pencil.
Additional Information
The amount of time practising is totally up to you but the more you put in, the more you will get out of this course.
