What is this workshop about?
Get ahead of the busy holiday season by preparing your festive cards early.
It’s so easy to schedule the delivery of your festive e-cards on any date you choose, so your greetings get there on time whilst being sustainable. It’s easy to email e-cards safely, securely and quickly from the comfort of your home.
This workshop is to help you create an eCard with Canva.
Creating an eCard with Canva is a straightforward and enjoyable process that allows you to express your creativity and send personalised greetings to your loved ones. Canva's user-friendly interface and extensive design resources make it an ideal platform for creating professional-looking eCards without requiring any prior design experience.
With a bit of creativity and exploration, you will learn how to craft eCards that are sure to impress your friends and family.
Who is this workshop for?
This course is aimed at people who already have some basic digital know-how and want to improve their digital skills by creating their own festive e-card.
Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
A basic level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course. You must also have basic IT skills.
How you will be assessed?
Questions and answers, discussions and observations.
How much studying will I need to do outside of the lesson?
It is advised to use the skills learnt to practise creating e-cards on your own devices to reinforce learning.

Online live streamed - Google Classroom
Venue Information
This course/workshop is run as real-time online using Google Classroom. This means that instead of having to go to a classroom, the classroom comes to you! You are taught by a teacher and you will have classmates that you share ideas with. To take part you will need a tablet or laptop/computer with a webcam and microphone to enable you to interact. A few days before the start, your teacher will email you with instructions on how to join the class.

- A Hertfordshire Resident
- Aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2023
- UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
