What is this workshop about?
This workshop will explore some simple mathematical concepts through the calming medium of clay modelling. Learners will discuss 2D and 3D shapes, diameter and circumference while creating their very own vase.
Who is this workshop for?
Anybody who would like to boost their confidence in maths through a creative course.
Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
A basic level of conversational English is required to access this course.
How you will be assessed?
Through question and answer, group discussion and learner reflections.
After this workshop you might like to… complete further craft-based maths courses, such as Crochet or Macrame.

This workshop is fully funded by the Department of Education for Education for adults who meet the following criteria:
- Aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2024.
- A Hertfordshire resident.
- A UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years.
- Do not hold a Maths GCSE qualification.
