What is this Course about?
This course is aimed at those who wish to discover how to effectively write interesting fiction and non-fiction to help them generate an income or use as marketing material. During the sessions we will explore a range of simple techniques to help you generate creative ideas for a range of media including writing content for books (fiction and non-fiction), magazines and social media.
Who is this Course for?
For people who want to learn how to generate ideas for their writing regardless of genre e.g. a novel, how-to book, magazines or social media.
Entry Requirements to do this Course:
A basic level of conversational and written English, an understanding of computer software e.g. Microsoft office etc. and using the Internet.
How you will be assessed?
Through questions and answers, the completion of weekly learner reflection forms and a short sample of your work completed during the session.
How much studying will I need to do outside of the lesson?
As with anything creative the more you put in the more you will gain. But typically, 1-2 hours per week.
What learners need to bring/supply
Students will need to bring a note pad and pen/pencil.
Additional Information
The amount of time practising is totally up to you but the more you put in, the more you will get out of this course.

- A Hertfordshire Resident
- Aged 19 years or older on 31st August 2025
- UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
