    What is this course about?

    Creating a budgeting plan for your household can feel overwhelming and hard, but Excel can help you get organised. The purpose of budget on Excel is to summarise what you earn against what you spend to help you plan for long and short-term goals. Learners will learn how to create and use personal budgeting spreadsheets. Creating basic formulas to help separate and calculate out you income and outcome.

    Who is this course for?

    The workshop is for those who would like to know more about budgeting on Excel.
    Take the Excel quiz - if you score below 70% this course is suitable for you.

    Entry Requirements to do this course:

    A basic level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course. You must also have a basic level of computer skills.

    How you will be assessed?

    Through questions and answers, the completion of learner reflection form.

    Learners must have access to PC or Tablet for online lessons.

    This course is fully funded by The Department for Education for adults who meet the following criteria:

    • Aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2023.
    • A Hertfordshire resident
    • A UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
    • Do not hold a Maths GCSE qualification.
