What is this workshop about?
This workshop will look at how Generative AI can be used to increase efficiency, creativity and remove some of the stresses of repetitive admin tasks, allowing learners to be their most productive and capable selves. It will be a thorough Introduction into the area of Generative AI but in a more professional context. It will introduce learners to Artificial Intelligence in a wider context as well as key terms and definitions, and then delve into what Generative Artificial Intelligence is and how it can be used, its benefits, helpful tools, demonstrations, and practical applications.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for people who have no understanding or a limited understanding of Artificial Intelligence and would like to find out more, including experimenting with it on a basic to intermediate level.
Entry Requirements to do this workshop:
Basic level of computer skills and the use of MS Office. A laptop. Access to a Generative AI tool.
How you will be assessed?
Discussions, quizzes, Q&A, completion of tasks and learner reflection.
What learners need to bring/supply
Learners must have access to a laptop or desktop with MS Office. Please note, MacBook’s may not have all the required functions to complete this taster course.

Online live streamed - Google Classroom
Venue Information
This course/workshop is run as real-time online using Google Classroom. This means that instead of having to go to a classroom, the classroom comes to you! You are taught by a teacher and you will have classmates that you share ideas with. To take part you will need a tablet or laptop/computer with a webcam and microphone to enable you to interact. A few days before the start, your teacher will email you with instructions on how to join the class.

- A Hertfordshire Resident
- Aged 19 years or older on 31st August 2024
- UK National and lived in the UK for the last 3 years or EEA National with settled/pre-settled status and lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
