Understanding Development Language Disorder

This training is organised by the Children and Young People's Therapy (CYPT) Service

This virtual training session will allow you to:

• understand the nature of development language disorder (DLD) and how these difficulties may present in the classroom,
• consider the impact of DLD on the child/young person’s life,
• learn strategies that can be used and applied in everyday teaching to support children with DLD, and
• know where to go for further information/support if needed.

Audience

All teaching staff - school SENCOs and class teachers may find this training particularly helpful.

This is a two-part training.
