Supporting Vocabulary Development in Primary Schools

This training is organised by the Children and Young People's Therapy (CYPT) Service

This training session will allow you to:

• Identify whether a child may have difficulty with vocabulary learning and/or word finding,
• Explore how we learn and store new vocabulary, and
• Learn strategies that can be used to support children in their vocabulary learning — both within the classroom and as part of a targeted intervention.
