    About this training

This 7 minute online tutorial introduces the Fingertips website and describes how it can help you find local health and wellbeing data for your work in Hertfordshire.

Fingertips (www.fingertips.phe.org.uk) is a large public health data collection, provided by the Department of Health and Social Care.

Data is organised into themed profiles which provide collections of indicators. They have been developed to show local area data alongside relevant comparators. The Fingertips site also includes Health trends in England, that summarise key information about the health of people in England and how it has changed over time. It is intended to provide an overview for the public in an accessible way.

This short video shows you how to use the Fingertips site to find the information you are looking for. The guide has been created by the Public Health Evidence and Intelligence Team (Hertfordshire County Council)
