This is 1.5 hour online training course to increase knowledge and understanding about gambling related harm and to help people find the right support.

This training will help learners develop their knowledge and understanding of gambling related harms

Learning Outcomes

Learners will:

• develop their knowledge, skills, understanding and awareness of gambling related harms (GRH)
• understand the nature of harmful gambling and gambling-related harms and their impact on health and wellbeing
• know how to provide help and support to an individual at risk of, or affected by, gambling related harms and signpost to appropriate specialist services.

Who is the course aimed at?

Aimed at organisations who want to increase awareness of gambling related harm, how to identify people at risk and to know where to signpost someone for support.  

This course is suitable for front line staff as well as commissioners and strategic decision makers who may be able to make changes to policies and work programmes to support residents and staff experiencing gambling related harm.
