    About this training

This 15 minute online tutorial introduces Hertfordshire's Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) and describes how it can help you improve local health and wellbeing services.

The JSNA looks at the specific health and social care needs of our local population and points out areas of inequality. It helps public bodies decide what type of local services to commission, but the resources can also be used by anyone to help understand particular issues for people living in our county.

The JSNA contains a variety of needs assessments, each looking at a different issue. The reports collect relevant research and recommendations from across the country and from organisations in our county. They are regularly updated to reflect the changing needs of the population. There are currently over 100 topics and groups covered in the resources.
