    About this event

Hertfordshire County Council Services for Young People (SfYP) is offering a series of free exciting outdoor activities to young people aged 13-19 with SEND, including those with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. The activities are funded by Hertfordshire County Council Short Breaks and young people are eligible up to the year they turn 19 if they are in full time education. You don't need to register for Short Breaks to attend.

All activities develop social, emotional and physical skills in a safe and supportive environment. Young people can:

    • Learn archery and compete in fun games
    • Tackle a woodland balance course
    • Discover and explore nature in the beautiful woodlands

Learn archery techniques and compete in fun games!
Using the outdoor archery range you will have the chance to be coached in the technique of shooting arrows safely using a recurve bow. Throughout the session you will be helped to shoot with increasing accuracy.

Games and competition between groups of small teams will be used to make the session fun and enjoyable.

The session will have a maximum of 8 young people.
