About this event
Services for Young People's Starburst Project is for young adults aged 18-25 with mild to moderate learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities. It is based at the Watford Young People's Centre, a wonderful multi-activity centre for young people in Watford which has a sports, dance and activity hall, an art room and a state-of-the-art kitchen.
We focus on independent living skills, relationships and emotional wellbeing in a relaxed and supportive environment. The project has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and we are always looking to welcome and include new young people who might be interested in joining us.
Young adults attending can develop their knowledge, skills and confidence through a range of fun activities, including cooking, sports, arts and crafts and drama.
At the Starbust Project, qualified youth workers will support you with:
- relationships
