Evidence Base: Best practice as required in NICE guidelines promotes a multidisciplinary approach, with parents and carers playing a key part in having ownership and knowledge to support their children and young people.

Accreditation: We are licensed by the ADHD Foundation to deliver the Understanding ADHD workshop which informs part of this workshop.

Objective: This workshop is designed to empower parents and carers with the knowledge and skills they need to reduce dependence on statutory services. Autism and ADHD are neurological conditions – these workshops explain the different presentations of these conditions.

    Learning Outcomes:

    • Gain knowledge and understanding of Autism and ADHD.
    • Understand the different conditions, the overlap between conditions, and the different ways this may present
    • Explore both the strengths and the challenges of Autism and ADHD
    • Identify and be equipped to access the support and services they need

This workshop is commissioned by Hertfordshire County Council.
