    Join us for an exciting online workshop to gain a deeper understanding of ADHD. Whether you're a parent, educator, or simply curious about ADHD, this workshop is for you!

    Our speakers will delve into the intricacies of ADHD, sharing valuable insights, tips, and strategies to navigate the challenges it presents and celebrate neurodiversity. Discover effective techniques for fostering positive relationship and promoting success in various aspects of life.

    During this interactive session, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions, engage in discussions, and connect with fellow participants. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where everyone can learn from each other's experiences.

    Evidence Base: Best practice as required in NICE guidelines promotes a multidisciplinary approach, with training for parents and carers playing a key part in having ownership and knowledge to support their children and young people.

    Accreditation: We are licensed by the ADHD Foundation to deliver the Understanding ADHD workshop. We have delivered many workshops and courses on these subjects to professionals including Herts Paediatricians, ADHD nurses and Step 2, who all refer parents to us for training.

    Objective: This workshop is designed to empower parents and carers with the knowledge and skills they need to reduce dependence on statutory services.

    Workshop Content:

    • Characteristics and understanding of ADHD

    • Recognising myths & facts

    • Understanding how ADHD affects executive functioning & emotional regulation

    • Supporting different learning styles

    • Strategies to support you, your children and young people

    • Co-occurring conditions

    Learning Outcomes:

    • Gain knowledge and understanding of ADHD.

    • Understand conditions that co-occur frequently with ADHD, and the different ways this may present

    • Understand how ADHD effects executive functioning & emotional regulation

    • Explore both the strengths and the challenges of ADHD

    • Build on existing strategies to support children and young people

    • Identify and be equipped to access the support and services they need
