SPACE - Autistic girls workshop (online)

This online workshop is designed to help parent/carers understand more about the particular challenges which autistic girls can face as well as leave equipped with strategies and approaches to help celebrate and support them.

• Key characteristics - how are they different in girls
• What is masking/camouflaging?
• How is autism diagnosed?
• Functioning labels and language
• Is autism a disability?
• Common misconceptions
• Co-occuring conditions

Who should attend:

SPACE Hertfordshire is needs led and therefore no diagnosis is necessary. This workshop is for parents/carers of girls with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of autism. This workshop is commisioned by Hertfordshire County Council.
