Join us for an exciting online event where we will have the opportunity to talk to Karen Spencer from SPACE about her experience of being neurodivergent herself as well as a parent to a neurodivergent child.

Karen only received her official diagnosis of ADHD later in life after it was bought to her attention by co-workers that it might be a possibility! Growing up in the 80's and attending school prior to the recognition that we know of for ADHD proved difficult and the common monikers of "naughty" and "difficult" were labels that were attached to her at young age. Come and listen to Karen talk through these stages of her life and how her diagnosis has helped her to be kinder to herself and celebrate her strengths. Karen will also discuss her journey as a parent and the joys and difficulties that this can bring.
