A workshop that is designed to support parents and carers in preparing for EHCP Annual Reviews.

Evidence Base:
Best practice within the SEND Code of Practice highlights the importance of meaningful Annual Reviews, with parents, carers, and young people actively involved. Effective preparation ensures the EHCP remains accurate, outcomes-focused, and responsive to changing needs.

Objective:
This workshop is designed to support parents and carers in preparing for EHCP Annual Reviews. It provides practical guidance on how to reflect on progress, identify ongoing needs, and contribute confidently to the review process to ensure the plan remains effective.

• The purpose of an Annual Review
• Understanding roles and responsibilities
• Reviewing outcomes, provision, and progress
• Preparing written contributions and evidence
• Supporting the voice of the child or young person
• Understanding possible outcomes and next steps
