Natural History Museum - Dawnosaurs relaxed morning visit (ages 5-15)

Dawnosaurs is a free event for neurodivergent children (including autism ADHD, Tourette’s, OCD and other sensory processing difficulties).

Enjoy the Museum, free from the hustle and bustle of the general public. Visitors have access to a wide range of galleries and activities, supported by and led by experienced, neurodivergent-aware facilitators.

This event is best for children aged five to 15, and siblings are welcome.

It's essential that all visitors book a free ticket online in advance. Tickets are released for each event a few months in advance.

Tickets are now available for our upcoming Dawnosaurs events on May 18th and August 14th.

These events are free and are aimed at Neurodivergent, disabled children and their families.

The theme of our upcoming event on May 18th is Birds.

The Museum will open early from 7am - 10am in a relaxed setting for you to explore a wide range of galleries and take part in our optional activity offer.

This event sees the return of our partnership with LEGO® as well as brining in a new activity "Be a Bird Scientist". You'll have the opportunity to look at bird feathers under microscopes and talk to our Creative Learning team about your discoveries. This activity is brand new so we'd love to hear what you and your family think!

Finally this event will see the return of our "Whale Hall" after a year of refurbishment as well as many other galleries to be enjoyed.
