Inclusive United - Inclusive Sport and Employability Programme (ages 18+) - 07/04/2025

Inclusive United's Inclusive Sport and Social Hub at Grovehill Adventure Playground in Hemel Hempstead runs every Tuesday morning.

Delivered every Monday from 3rd Feb 2025, Inclusive United's, Inclusive Sport and Employability programme runs from 11.30am to 2.30pm for 24 weeks and has been funded by Sport England.

Aimed at young adults aged 18-25 with mild learning disabilities, Neurodiversity, SEN or additional needs, the programme will deliver inclusive sports sessions consisting of a range of multi-sports whilst assisting participants to build their skills and confidence to help them with their long-term goals of being active and being able to access volunteering roles and work experience and employment opportunities in the sports industry in the future.

Whilst being active, participants will learn how to plan, setup and organise sports sessions, coaching skills, teamwork. There will be visiting organisations to provide helpful information and signposting where possible to help with long-term employability goals.

Please email contact@inclusiveunited.co.uk to discuss the program before you book. The programme will be based at Grovehill Adventure Playground, Hemel during term time, from 3/2/24 to end July with some further sessions organised during the summer.

On the day please: - Come dressed in clothes suitable for exercise outdoors. - Bring trainers or astros. - Bring your own easily identifiable water. - Bring a snack and drink for a mid morning break. * We play outside in all weathers, however if the weather is not suitable we will hold the whole session inside the Grovehill adventure playground pavilion instead with indoor activities.
