About this event
Fun-filled 2-hour sessions for young gaming enthusiasts.
We're excited to introduce our Gaming, Coding and Social Club, at SPACE with our partners Code Ninjas!
This event is perfect for young gaming enthusiasts eager to dive into the world of gameplay. No experience is necessary, everyone is welcome from age 5+ from complete novices to tech-geniuses!
Roblox
Our children and young people can play Roblox alongside their peers and those who want to will have the opportunity to jump into the creative world of Roblox Studio, where they’ll learn the basics of game design and development. They’ll explore how to build their own game worlds, set up interactive environments, and customize characters - perfect for sparking creativity!
Minecraft
Our gamers can play Minecraft and those who want to can also learn the art of Minecraft modding, where they will get to modify the classic game of Minecraft. They’ll learn how to create custom mods, add new features, and manipulate the game environment bringing their own ideas to life.
Beginner-friendly game development
For those young people keen to dive deeper into game development there will also be an opportunity to start to learn to create simple games. By the end, they’ll have created their own mini-games using block-based coding and Java Script and gained a solid foundation in coding principles.
This is an excellent opportunity for kids to play games and learn coding in a fun and supportive environment.
Please feel free to bring headsets if you feel that will support your young person.
Parents/Carers must remain on site at all times and children remain the responsibility of their parents/carers at all times.
