Focus Youth Project (SfYP) ages 13-17 (Waltham Cross) - 11/06/2024

If you are aged 13-25 and interested in playing sports, cooking, arts & crafts, music-making and socialising then this is the project for you!

Waltham Cross Young People's Centre offers a range of high-quality facilities that you can access when you come to this project. We have a fully working music studio, an ICT suite, games consoles, football sessions, table tennis, pool, kitchen, a large sports hall & outside space. The activities are designed around you so there is plenty of flexibility to the needs of the group.

At the Focus Youth Project, qualified Services for Young People youth workers support you with:

• relationships
• confidence and resilience
• staying safe
• emotional wellbeing
• healthy lifestyles
• food, nutrition and cooking
• managing money and budgeting

There are two groups:

• 13-17s meet on Tuesdays, 6:45pm-8:45pm
• 18-25s meet on Wednesdays, 7.15pm-9.15pm

The focus of the programme for 18 to 25 year olds is on developing independant living skills.

Services for Young People staff are experienced in working with young people with a variety of needs. When you join the project there is a short assessment to see if you need help with anything specific.

The Waltham Cross Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
